How do I reset my password for MyRIW?


A password for MyRIW may need to be reset if you have recently had your MyRIW account unlocked by the Service Desk or you have forgotten your password.


After five (5) attempts of incorrectly entering the wrong password, MyRIW will lock out your profile.  If you receive this message, please contact the RIW Service Desk on 1300 101 682 or info@riw.net.au to unlock your profile.

This instruction applies to the following RIW System User Roles:


  • Helpdesk
  • myRIW User (i.e. RIW cardholder)


Step 1: Go to the MyRIW Login page

Go to https://app.riw.net.au/MySkillGuard/Account/LogOn




Step 2: Forgotten password? link

Click on the Forgotten password? link



Step 3: Password Reset

Enter your RIW Number and Email Address in the respective fields.  Check the I'm not a robot check box to confirm you are a real person. Click the Reset Password button to send the reset password link to your email address.



Step 4: Email

The following email will be received.  Click on the link or cut and paste the link into your internet browser.



Step 5: Change your Password

Select and confirm your password as per the instructions.  Click on the Reset Password button.



Step 6: Confirmation

The following message will appear when the password has been changed.  To go to back to the Login Page, click on the link.
