How does an RIW System User update their email communication preferences for system notifications?


This article details how an RIW System User can update their RIW System Notification email communication preferences in the RIW System.


RIW System notifications include cardholder/worker subscription expiry notifications, competency expiry notifications, medical expiry notifications and job role leave date notifications.


RIW System Users can also specify a cost centre filter to these notifications, so an RIW System User will only receive notifications about cardholders assigned that particular cost centre code. This instruction applies to the following RIW System User Roles: 

  • Employer Admin
  • Employer Admin - No Payment
  • Employer Admin - Read Only


Step 1: Log in to the RIW System

Go to https://app.riw.net.au and login using your credentials. 


Step 2: Go to Communication Preferences

Click on the My Account Tab and then the Communication Preferences shortcut.



Step 3: Manage Communication Preferences

On the Communication Preferences screen, RIW System Users can toggle on/off the required RIW system notifications for cardholder (worker) subscriptions, competency expiries, medical expiries and job role leave dates.  Use the slider to turn on an off as per below (note: when in the green position, the notification is switched on).  Click Save when complete.

Step 4: Assign cost code filter if required

If an RIW System User only wishes to only receive notifications for a cohort of cardholders designated by a cost code, type the cost code into the cost code field and click the Add button.  



RIW System Users can add multiple cost codes as required.  If a cost code is no longer required, clicking the Remove button will remove the cost code filter.


Remember to click Save when complete.  


Communication preferences have now been saved.
