How does a cardholder contact their employer in myRIW?
myRIW allows Rail Industry Workers to contact their primary employer directly through the user interface.
When contacting your employer, a message will be sent via email to the primary contact of your current Primary Employer, which will include your name, RIW number and message.
This instruction applies to the following user roles:
- Rail Industry Worker (myRIW)
1 | Go to https://app.riw.net.au/MySkillGuard/Account/LogOn and log in using your credentials. If you have not yet created your myRIW profile, please follow the instructions in How does a cardholder create a myRIW profile? |
2 | Click on Contact my Employer on the home dashboard. |
3 | Detail the required message in the free text dialogue box and click Send. An email will be sent to the Primary Contact of your Primary Employer company with the message details. A confirmation message will appear advising an email has been sent to the Employer. |
4 | Alternatively, if you do not have authority to work at a particular site, when using the Check Site Eligibility feature, Contact my Employer will also be available:![]() |
