How does a company monitor forthcoming and expired competencies?

This article details how a company can monitor forthcoming and expired competencies in the RIW System

This instruction applies to the following RIW System User Roles:

  • Advanced Project Admin
  • Employer Admin
  • Employer Admin - No Payment
  • Employer Admin - Read Only
  •  Helpdesk

Step 1: Log in to the RIW System

Go to and login using your credentials. 

Step 2: Expiries tab

Click on the Expiries tab which is situated long the top of the screen

Step 3: Expiries Listing

On the Expiries page, click on the Competencies menu on the left hand side. This screen will automatically populate with all the competencies that are expired (with Expiry Dates in red) and forthcoming expiries (with Expiry Dates in amber).

Step 4: Search and Filtering List

A more refined search can  be applied to this list by adding search criteria to the fields and clicking on the Search button.   This list can also be filtered by clicking on the Show Forthcoming and Show Expired radio buttons.

Step 5: Access cardholder record

A cardholder's record can be accessed by highlighting a record in the list and clicking the Edit button.
