How does a company monitor forthcoming and expired RIW cards?


RIW cards have a physical shelf life of 5 years.  Cards that are near life end need to be replaced.  Companies can monitor RIW cards that are past their replacement date or the replacement date is forthcoming.



This instruction applies to the following RIW System User Roles: 

  • Advanced Project Admin
  • Employer Admin
  • Employer Admin - No Payment
  • Employer Admin - Read Only


Step 1: Log in to the RIW System

Go to https://app.riw.net.au and login using your credentials. 


Step 2: Expiries tab

Click on the Expiries tab which is situated long the top of the screen



Step 3: Cards tab

Click on the Cards tab on the left hand side of the screen.  This will populate the search results will all cards that are expiring or have a forthcoming expiration.





Cards that have expired (with Expiry Dates in red) and forthcoming expiries (with Expiry Dates in amber) will be listed.


Step 4: Search and filtering List

A more refined search can be applied to this list by adding search criteria to the fields and clicking on the Search button.   This list can also be filtered by clicking on the Show Forthcoming and Show Expired radio buttons.



Step 5: Cardholder record

A cardholder's record can be accessed by highlighting a record in the list and clicking the Edit button.  This will take you to the cardholders profile where a new RIW card may be requested.
