How does a cardholder view their competencies on their myRIW profile?
The myRIW portal allows Rail Industry Workers to view their RIW profile on the web. This article details how a cardholder can view their competencies, and monitor their expiry (if applicable).
This instruction applies to the following RIW System User Roles:
- myRIW - RIW Cardholder
Step 1: Log in to MyRIW
Go to https://app.riw.net.au/MySkillGuard/Account/LogOn and login using your credentials, which is your RIW number and password. If a cardholder has not yet created their account, please follow the instructions in our article How does a cardholder create a myRIW profile?
Step 2: View My Profile
Click on View My Profile on the home dashboard.
Step 3: My Profile
Your RIW profile will display, and from the left hand menu you can navigate to your personal details, job roles, competencies, allocated items, medicals and swipe history.
Step 4: View Competencies
To view your competencies, click on the relevant type of competency, such as National, Network, Project or Site based. The example below shows the National competencies awarded to the cardholder, and includes the competency code, the competency name, expiry date and reason, which is whether the competency is valid, expired, rejected or pending verification with the RIW Service Desk.
You can sort the competency columns by clicking on the arrows next to the table headings. In this example, competencies with an expiry date are listed first.
If you have any queries regarding the competencies listed on your RIW profile, please get in touch with your Employer.
