What is the Job Role Validity Report for Network Operators?


This article provides an overview of Job Role Validity Report for Network Operators, which is available as an RIW System existing report.  This report can be used to view the job role validity of your workforce.


The report lists the validity of job roles for all workers with a relationship with the Network and if the role is valid or invalid for the role(s) on their profile. If they are invalid, the report lists the missing or invalid competencies affecting the validity. The results can be filtered once exported by job role name or left blank for an entire workforce view.



 This instruction applies to the following user roles:

  • Network Manager
  • Network Manager - Read Only

Go to https://app.riw.net.au and log in using your credentials.

Click on Reports > Existing Reports > Job Role Validity Report for Network Operators.

On the Job Role Validity Report for Network Operator screen, enter the Job Role Name to be queried and click Run Report.


If the data set is small, the report will immediately display on screen.  If the data set is large, you will be prompted to Export the report which will be emailed to you.

The report will display:

  • Rail Industry Worker First Name
  • Rail Industry Worker Surname
  • Rail Industry Worker Number
  • Rail Industry Worker's Primary Employer
  • Job Role Name
  • Required Medical Level Held
  • Required Alcohol Test Pass Held
  • Required Drug Test Pass Held
  • Required Additional Medical Information Held
  • Assessment Status
  • Rail Industry Worker Subscription Expiry Date
  • Job Role Is Valid (True / False)
  • Valid Competencies
  • Missing or Invalid Competencies

If required, the report can be exported to a *.CSV file by clicking on the Export button.  The following Export Report pop-up will appear advising the report has been queued.  The report will be emailed to the user.  

Click OK to proceed.
