What is the Role Library And Corresponding Competency Grouping Report?
This article provides an overview of the Role Library and Corresponding Competency Group Report available as an existing report in the RIW System. This report would be used if you need to view what competency requirements make up a job role.
The role library includes all job roles in the RIW System and their corresponding competency requirements. A job role can include groups of competencies where all of the competencies are required, or one in a group are required.
This instruction applies to the following user roles:
- Advanced Project Admin
- Assessor
- Employer Admin
- Employer Admin - No Payment
- Employer Admin - Read Only
- Helpdesk
- Network Manager
- Network Manager - Read Only
- Project Admin
- Site Admin
- Training Provider User
1 | Go to https://app.riw.net.au and log in using your credentials. |
2 | Click on Reports > Existing Reports > Role Library And Corresponding Competency Grouping Report. |
3 | On the Role Library And Corresponding Competency Grouping Report screen, you can either:

4 | The report will display:
Advice on how to read the Required Group column

5 | If required, the report can be exported to a *.CSV file by clicking on the Export button. The following Export Report pop-up will appear advising the report has been queued. The report will be emailed to the user. Click OK to proceed. |
6 | You can also save and schedule the report to be run periodically. Refer to How does a company save and schedule a report? for more information. |
