What is the ARTC Protection Officer Profile Changes report?


This article provides an overview of the ARTC Protection Officer Profile Report, which is available as an RIW System Existing Report.


The report will display any changes to a Rail Industry Worker who holds the following job role(s):

  • ARTC - Protection Officer Level 1 – NSW
  • ARTC - Protection Officer Level 2 - NSW
  • ARTC - Protection Officer Level 3 – NSW
  • ARTC - Protection Officer Level 4 - NSW


This will allow you to view if an ARTC Protection Officer has been blocked or suspended, or if their competencies, job roles or rail health (medical) assessment has expired within a defined period.


Note: While this report is available to all Network Manager user roles, you will only be able to access data your Network has permission to view.



This instruction applies to the following user roles:

  • Network Manager
  • Network Manager - Read Only

Go to https://app.riw.net.au and log in using your credentials.

Click on Reports > Existing Reports > ARTC Protection Officer Profile Report.

On the ARTC Protection Officer Profile Report screen, enter in the From Date and To DateYou can choose a Fixed Date for both fields, or if you want to save and schedule this report, a Run Date Plus or Run Date Minus filter can be applied.  

Click on Run Report.

The report will immediately display on screen. 


The report will display:

  • First name
  • Surname
  • RIW Number
  • Job Role Is Currently Valid
  • Job Role Name
  • Competency Status Change
  • Competency Name
  • Competency Award Date
  • Competency Expiry Date
  • Competency Verification Date
  • Competency Currently Suspended
  • Job Role Currently Suspended
  • Job Role Suspension Reason
  • Block Status Change
  • Block Type
  • Block Reason
  • Date Block Placed
  • Date Block Lifted 
  • Current Medical Level
  • Medical Examination Date
  • Medical Expiry Date
  • Current AHP Work Restriction

If required, the report can be exported to a CSV file by clicking on the Export button.  The following Export Report pop-up will appear, advising the report has been queued.  The report will be emailed to you.  


Click OK to proceed.
