What is the Next Key Expiry Report For Valid Job Roles for Network Operator?


This article details how to run the Next Key Expiry Report for Valid Job Roles for Network Operators in the RIW System. This report can be used to view when a job role is coming up for expiry and what is expiring. 


The report allows a Network to monitor the upcoming expiry of a job role based on when the next competency, rail health (medical) assessment, drug and/or alcohol assessment, or other medical information is due to expire within that valid job role for workers who have a swipe or rail corridor access job role relationship with the Network Operator.  The results can be filtered by job role name or left blank for an entire workforce view.



This instruction applies to the following user roles:

  • Network Manager
  • Network Manager - Read Only

Go to https://app.riw.net.au and log in using your credentials.

Click on Reports > Existing Reports > Next Key Expiry Report for Valid Job Roles for Network Operator.

On the Next Key Expiry Report for Valid Job Roles for Network Operator screen, enter the specific Job Role Name to be queried and click Run Report.

Alternatively, leaving the Job Role Name blank will return the job role validity of all Rail Industry Worker's with a current relationship with the Network Operator.


This report does not support an on-screen preview, so you will be prompted to Export the report which will be emailed to you.

  • Rail Industry Worker First Name
  • Rail Industry Worker Surname
  • Rail Industry Worker Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Primary Employer Name
  • Primary Contact First Name
  • Primary Contact Surname
  • Primary Contact Email
  • Cost Centre
  • Job Role Name
  • Job Role Owner
  • Is Job Role Assessable
  • Next Key Expiry Date
  • Next Key Expiry Item
