What is the RIW Worker app?
The article provides information about the new RIW Worker app, accessible to all cardholders with a myRIW account. This app is distinct from the RIW App, which is currently used by Access Controllers and Spot Checkers.
Important! The RIW Worker App is currently in an early release phase. While available to all cardholders, the app may be subject to updates and feature changes as feedback is collected and final refinements are made.
This instruction applies to the following user roles:
- myRIW users (RIW workers)
The RIW Worker App provides the key features of myRIW with the convenience of mobile access. The RIW Worker App is available to all cardholders who have a myRIW account.

Access Swipe History | Keep track of your site access history in one place |
Contact Your Employer | Send an email directly to your primary employer from within the app. |
Manage Employment & Association Requests | Accept, reject, or end employer and association requests directly through the app. |
Update Contact Details | Easily update your email address, mobile number, and communication preferences. |
Access eLearning | Link directly to the RIW eLearning platform for online training and refresher courses. |
When logging in, multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required. Due to the personal nature of the data contained within the app, MFA is reset every 24 hours. This means you will be prompted to re-authenticate daily when accessing the app.
Important! The RIW App (for Access Controllers and Spot Checkers) remains available and will continue to be used for site access by authorised cardholders with Access Controller, Spot Check, and Self-Swipe privileges.
