How do I register a company in the RIW System?


What information does a company need to register in the RIW System?

  • Australian Business Number (ABN)
  • Estimate of the number of RIW cardholders to be registered to the company
  • Registered address
  • Details of a Primary Contact for the company
  • Authority to accept the Company Registration - Terms and Conditions on behalf of the company



Step 1 - Company Registration

Go to https://app.riw.net.au and click on the Company Registration link. Alternatively, go direct to https://app.riw.net.au/SkillSafe/CompanyRegistration



Step 2 - Populate Company Registration form 

Enter a valid ABN in the Company ABN field and click Lookup. You can find all valid ABNs on the https://abr.business.gov.au/ website.


 

The Registered Company Name and Trading As field will be automatically populated from the lookup search. If not, then the ABN is not valid. Correct the ABN and click Lookup again.


Note: you can edit the Trading As name if you would like another name to be displayed in the RIW System.  The Registered Company Name can not be edited.


Select the appropriate Payment Tier based on the estimate of the number of RIW cardholders the company will manage in the RIW System for the next year, and also select the appropriate Estimated Number of Workers.


Step 3 - Provide Company Details

Enter the Company Address and Primary Contact Details as per the example below, noting that all items with a red asterisk (*) are mandatory.  The Primary Contact is the person in the company who will be the primary representative for the company regarding all matters regarding the RIW System. The Primary Contact will receive the initial RIW System login information, and also receive all RIW System notification emails regarding payments etc.


 



Step 4 - Terms and Conditions

Tick the box to agree to Terms and Conditions, and complete the CAPTCHA by ticking the I am not a robot tick box (and eventually selecting pictures if required to do so).


Click on the Send button.











If the company registration application is successful, the below message will display.  The RIW Service Desk will then process the application, and an email will be sent to the Primary Contact.

 

 

If the company registration application is not successful, the most common problem is that the ABN selected already exists in the RIW System. Only one unique ABN is allowed per company.

Step 5 - Logging in to the RIW System

Once the company registration application has been approved (this may take up to three business days), an email containing a username and a link to login to the system and set a password will be sent to the designated Primary Contact. Set and confirm the new password, and then complete the CAPTCHA (I’m not a robot), and click Save

 



Step 6 - Accepting the System Access Rules 

Read through the System Access Rules statement, and click the tick box and the Agree button to confirm acceptance of the system access rules. 

 

 


Step 7 - Access to the RIW System is now granted

Access to the RIW System is now granted.
